Dil Raju’s panel registered a victory over C Kalyan’s panel in the Telugu Film Chamber elections, with a strong position. A total of seven out of the 12 seats in the producers’ sector now belongs to Dil Raju.
Dil Raju himself emerged victorious from the producer sector, and several other members from his panel, including Prasanna Kumar, YV Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar, Padmini, Sravanti Ravikishore, Yalamanchali Ravishankar, Damodara Prasad, and Mohan Vadlapatla, also won their respective seats.
Dil Raju’s panel secured three out of the four winning positions in the studio sector. Both C. Kalyan and Dil Raju’s panels won six seats in the distribution sector.
The polling occurred from morning until 4 pm, with 1339 members exercising their voting rights. Among them, 891 votes were cast from the producer sector, 68 from the studio sector, and 380 from the distribution sector.
In 14 rounds, Dil Raju’s panel secured 563 votes and C Kalyan’s panel secured 497 votes.
Surprisingly, popular producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi (Sithara Entertainments), Bapineedu (SVC Entertainments) & Vivek Kuchibhotla (Peoples Media Factory) lost the election.
