Hero Naresh was going through a lean phase in his personal life for a long time. His estranged wife Mrs Ramya Raghupati lodged an injunction suit in the city civil court in Bangalore, seeking a stay of the release of his previous movie- Malli Pelli (Matte Maduve in Kannada), in theatres, OTT platforms, and satellites.
The court on hearing the arguments of both sides, pronounced the judgment, dismissing the case filed by Mrs Raghupati. The court concluded that Malli Pelli is a fictional movie as certified by the Board of film certification, Government of India. Court avowed that once the censor board certifies the film to be a fictional one, there is no ground for a private person to stop the release of the movie.
Naresh gets respite in another case against his former wife. It is known that Naresh and his family filed an injunction suit in the court imposing a ban on Ramya to enter his residence in Nanakramguda. After the court examined the case thoroughly, Ramya was imposed a ban on entering the house.
Since Ramya is not staying with Naresh for nearly six years, the court is expected to grant a divorce to them.
