Bollywood Announces Another Clash With Prabhas

It seems like Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has no apprehensions about locking horns with the Prabhas yet again. Yes, you heard it right. The national award-winning director who bagged a soaring success with the controversial film ‘The Kashmir Files ‘ is going to have another box office tussle with Prabhas on September 28th. Last year, it was Radhe Shyam VS The Kashmir Files. While Radhe Shyam failed to impress moviegoers, The Kashmir Files went on to emerge as a huge blockbuster.

Now, Vivek’s next outing ‘The Vaccine War’, touted to be the first bio-science film, will hit the screens on the same day as Prabhas’ Salaar. A brief teaser of The Vaccine War is out earlier today on the eve of Independence Day and it confirmed the release date.

Prashanth Neel’s KGF 2 emerged as one of the highest-grossing films in North India. So, the expectations are quite humongous for Salaar. Trade circles are also anticipating a phenomenal opening all over the country due to the heady combination of Prabhas and Neel.

Industry circles believed that Salaar will have no competition from any Bollywood biggie because of its hype and hysteria in the audience. But, Vivek Agnihotri sprung a surprise. He seems to be very confident in his film and announced a direct clash with Salaar without any hesitation.

It would be interesting to see if Vivek can gain the upper hand over Prabhas once again or will Neel have the last laugh at the box office. We have to wait for September 28th.
