But with the start of IPL a few days back, Bigg Boss is losing attention. Many youngsters prefer watching IPL than reality shows. To grab their attention, the makers of the show are coming up with a few sharply-edited controversial promos.
Promos play a major role in drawing people’s attention to the show. If you cut a promo with spicy and controversial content, people will definitely watch the episode to witness the drama. Most of the time, the real content will not match up to the edited promo. But that doesn’t matter. The makers only need viewership and they get it through these promos.
Bigg Boss producers cracked this formula well. They are coming up with spicy promos for the last few days. In this way, the show is managing to stay alive amidst the fever of the Indian Premier League.
The formula is working well now but we have to see if it can sustain in the coming days or not.
