Like it has come out already, the pending post-production works of Salaar might urge the film’s producers to postpone the release date. Though nothing got officially announced, some distributors have already confirmed that they got information about the change of Salaar release from September 28th to another date. And if that happens for real, three Telugu films are eyeing to grab that slot.
Reports are coming up that the first one in the race is none other than Ram Pothineni’s Skandha which is actually set for a September 15th release date. To avoid the competition with Lawrence’s Chandramukhi 2 which is arriving on the same date, the makers want to postpone their movie, we hear.
At the same time, makers of Raviteja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao, who have earlier scheduled their film for October 20th release, by directly entering into a clash with Balayya Bhagawant Kesari and Vijay’s Leo that are hitting cinemas a day prior, are now eyeing Salaar date. Talk is strong that the producers want Raviteja to kickstart promotion this week itself if Salaar postponement is confirmed.
Indefinitely postponed film, director Srikanth Addala’s Peda Kapu: 1, is likely to release on September 28th if Salaar is out of the race. However, if both Ram and Raviteja decide to capture that date, then the Brahmotsavam director might opt for another date like September 15. Let’s see what happens.
