Talented actor and Jathiratnalu fame Naveen Polishetty is now coming up with the film Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty this Friday and spoke to Gulte.com exclusively for a quick chat over a lot of things. As we sat by the pool with this energetic actor, here is what he has to say.

Speaking about the response to his recent road trip, he made interesting comments. “Like how we invite everyone in person to a wedding in our marriage, I would like to invite my fans to the movie in the same way. That’s the reason why I personally took up this tour”, says Naveen Polishetty, who further added that he hadn’t expected this kind of adulation. Later he added that to repeat the same kind of feat abroad, he’s heading to the USA now for a long tour.

About the relevance of the subject of a heroine asking the hero to impregnate her without love or any other relationship, Naveen adds, “There is something inside the film that you should watch out which actually hinges you to the situation, rather than worrying you with the heaviness of the film”.

But why is Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty targeting September 7th and directly clashing with Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan movie. You have to watch the interview to know his answer, while the actor also explained how they have done the standup comedy in the movie with a live audience.

Is there romance between Naveen and Anushka in this movie? “This is a rom-com but a new-age rom-com with a fresh treatment and concept. So if you watch the film you will know it” he shoots back.

What about remakes? “Telugu cinema should be remade by all and that makes me proud, rather than vice-versa of it”, he articulated.
