Energetic star Ram Pothineni has often drawn comparisons to Team India’s star cricketer, Virat Kohli. Their similar height and facial features have led to numerous discussions among fans and media. During the shooting of ‘Ismart Shankar,’ Ram’s look was widely noted for its resemblance to Virat Kohli, and the photos of Ram went viral at the time.
Recently, Ram addressed this comparison during an interview in the lead-up to the release of his film ‘Skanda,’ scheduled for September 28. During a recent interview, Ram was asked if he would be interested in playing Virat Kohli in a biopic.
Ram acknowledged the frequent comparisons to Virat Kohli and expressed his happiness at being likened to the Indian cricket superstar. He said he would be thrilled to take on the role of Virat Kohli in a biopic if the opportunity ever arose, emphasizing his enthusiasm for such a project.
It is worth noting that there were rumors recently that Ram Charan is the front-runner for playing Virat Kohli’s role if a biopic gets planned. But, team Ram Charan gave clarity that the actor does not have any such intentions and he is already occupied with his lineup of projects.
