#Disha Trailer: A crime that shocked India

In November 2019, a 26-year-old veterinary doctor was raped and murdered by four men in Hyderabad city outskirts. This crime became a sensational issue then and later all the four men were killed in an encounter. Even the encounter became a huge row and the Human Rights Commission found fault with the police action.

Based on this crime incident, director Ram Gopal Varma has announced the film ‘Disha Encounter.’ The trailer of the film was unveiled by RGV taking to his Twitter. The visuals show a complete recreation of the whole crime wherein a young lady stops her vehicle beside a truck near to toll gate. In the night, the four men drag her and rape her and eventually burn her to death.

The trailer has nothing to offer as there is no interesting element. The trailer has no dialogues while the background music is loud and annoying. Towards the end of the trailer, we hear sounds of bullets and protests in connection with the crime and this is the only interesting bit.

‘Disha Encounter’ is being directed by Anand Chandra and is releasing on November 26th.
