Highly Convincing: Balakrishna playing his age!

The eagerly awaited trailer for “Bhagwant Kesari,” which Balayya fans have been anticipating, has finally arrived. From the outset, there has been speculation about this film due to the distinct styles of director Anil Ravipudi and Balayya. It remained a question of who would adapt to whose style. However, the cleverly crafted trailer suggests that Balakrishna is playing his age, and he aced it gracefully.

In the first impression, both Anil Ravipudi and Balayya have ventured into a new genre. Amidst the debates about whether the senior heroes of Tollywood should play their age like Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are doing with their films, Balakrishna is the first to take up this trend.

In the trailer, Balayya is portrayed as a mature father, maintaining the same middle-aged appearance throughout. The narrative appears to revolve around his determination to empower his daughter and prepare her for a battle, indicating a deeper story beneath the surface.

Despite Balakrishna playing his age in the film, his signature action and intense sequences are elevated well. This shift in his approach to Balayya indicated his attempt to introduce something fresh to his fans and audiences. If the film also has the same impact, Balakrishna would be a trendsetter and continue taking up similar roles to bring more stories to the big screen.

“Bhagwant Kesari” is set to release on the 19th of this month and is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi.
