Nivin Pauly to venture into OTT with ‘Pharma’

Popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly is set to make his debut in the world of OTT with the upcoming series “Pharma” on Disney+ Hotstar. The show is created by director PR Arun, known for his films “Finals” and “Rampunthanavaruthi,” and produced by Movie Mill.

Nivin Pauly has been off the league for a while, and most of his recent releases did not meet the expectations at the box office. Despite having big hits like “Kayamkulam Kochunni,” “Bangalore Days,” and “Premam” to his credit, he has not scored a big hit in a long while.

Now, he pins big hopes on this OTT debut, “Pharma,” which will be an intriguing story based on real-life incidents.

“Pharma” also features renowned Hindi cinema actor Rajit Kapur in a significant role, marking his return to the Malayalam industry after a decade.

The series has a strong crew, including Abhinandan Ramanujam as the cinematographer, Jakes Bejoy as the music director, and Sreejith Sarang as the editor.
