The wedding of Mega hero Varun Tej has created a lot of buzz among fans and the media. It’s been reported that Netflix paid 8 crore rupees for the rights to stream the video of the wedding celebration in Italy on their OTT platform. Although this hasn’t been officially confirmed, the news is circulating. But, team Varun Tej officially condemned the news on social media.
“The ongoing speculations around the OTT rights of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding are completely baseless and untrue. Requesting everyone not to believe in such rumors and spread them,” shared the actor’s team to give clarity.
During the wedding ceremony, which had a limited number of guests, not many celebrities were spotted. In the past, there were rumors that Netflix had bought the rights to Nayantara and Vignesh Sivan’s event, but it was not streamed for various reasons.
Fans of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun would likely be interested if the wedding gets streamed on an OTT platform but with the clarity coming now, the news will put to rest for once and all.
