Nithin’s Thammudu Is Not Icon; Deets Inside

One of the most talked about projects of Allu Arjun is the film “Icon” which will be directed by Venu Sriram of ‘Oh My Friend’ and ‘MCA’ fame. While Dil Raju was supposed to bankroll this film even before Pushpa 2 started, somehow the project was kept on hold. Now that Nithin is doing a film with Venu Sriram, naturally, doubts arise if this is Icon. Here comes a clarity. 

Speaking with Gule.com, while promoting his latest film “Extra Ordinary Man”, talented actor Nithin opened up about this upcoming project. “Icon is a different film and what we are doing is an altogether new story. The film is titled “Thammudu” and deals with brother-sister sentiment mostly”, said Nithin. He also shared the most important update of the film, about the heroine. “Kantara” fame Sapthami Gowda is roped in as the leading lady for the film. 

On the other hand, Nithin is also doing a movie with director Venky Kudumula who has earlier delivered “Bheeshma” with him. While Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to do this film, as they called it #VNRTrio, due to date issues of the ‘Animal’ heroine she was replaced with Sreeleela now.
