Sandeep Vanga re-editing Animal for Netflix

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is enjoying the success of the latest blockbuster ‘Animal,’ and he is yet to finalize the OTT version of the movie. There is no clarity on when the film will be available on OTT but Sandeep is currently reediting the OTT version.

In a conversation with film trade analyst Komal Nahta, Vanga confirmed the same. Sandeep expressed his disappointment with certain elements of the film, including issues with the song, makeup, costumes, and sound. He is correcting these issues for the OTT release on Netflix.

While editing the OTT version, Vanga is using different and additional shots to correct the identified problems. He also mentioned that he initially edited the film to 3 hours and 21 minutes but now feels he should have left it at 3 hours and 30 minutes. Therefore, he plans to include an additional 5-6 minutes for the OTT release.

“I’m currently editing the Netflix version, It will include a few additional shots. I initially had a 3-hour 30-minute version, but due to pressure, I cut 8-9 minutes. I’m using that footage for the Netflix version of Anima,” shared Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol featured in this prestigious project.
