The talk is everywhere that one small film is getting suppressed and other big films are getting good support from a few teams when it comes to the Sankranthi 2024 releases. While those who sideline with the small movie feel that ‘biggies’ are doing gross injustice to the film, here is another talk, that came straight from the mouth of a producer whose film in the release race.
On the sidelines of a recent event, this producer is heard commenting, “When this small film is suffering, everyone is raising their voice and dictating logic. But when Salaar crushed all of our release plans, none even dared to speak against it. Due to repeated postponements, we’ve lost a huge on interest money to be paid to the loan sharks. Those people talking about honesty and ethics should have honestly opened up during Salaar postponement also”.
Not stopping there, the producer added, “Luckily we have theatres now, but then, all those theatres will not contribute to extensive collections unless the film turns a blockbuster. We too have our own issues running here”. Well, that is just another perspective to hear.
