After the grand success of RRR, Mega Power Star Ram Charan swiftly moved on to his next project, “Game Changer,” followed by a collaboration with “Uppena” director Buchibabu Sana. AR Rahman is officially on board to score the music for the film.
While this news has sparked enthusiasm among Charan’s fans, a negative sentiment looms.
Historically, Rahman’s direct films in Telugu have not witnessed success. Despite delivering memorable albums for dubbed films, his straight Telugu ventures like “Super Police,” “Nani,” “Komaram Puli,” and “Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo” faced disappointing outcomes.
Rahman, known for his remarkable compositions, has been cautious about undertaking straight Telugu projects, even relinquishing “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” in the past.
With Charan’s movie on the horizon, fans are optimistic that Rahman will deliver a blockbuster album, breaking the trend of his previous ventures. The film, reportedly a sports drama with intense elements, features Charan as a sportsman turned coach.
As the project gears up for a potential commencement, the question remains: will this be a new beginning to AR Rahman in Telugu?
