Rebel Star Prabhas scored a massive blockbuster with his last outing Salaar and he is presently doing Kalki 2898 AD under the direction of Nag Ashwin. The film featuring a stellar cast such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, gets a new release date.
The movie was previously planned for Sankranthi release. But for some reason, it got postponed. Today, they announced to release Kalki 2898 AD on May 9th. The release date poster shows Prabhas in a completely new avatar, as he is seen wearing a shield and holding a stick in his hand. With long hair and a beard, Prabhas looks macho here. The poster also sees a spacecraft.
