Dil Raju is one of the prominent distributors in Telugu who is considered to be the King in Nizam region. He has grabbed the distribution rights of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram for the Nizam region and also faced a controversy for allegedly not allocating a reasonable number of screens for another film, HanuMan, releasing on the same day. Today, Dil Raju met the media to share his views on Guntur Kaaram performance.
Accompanied with Naga Vamsi, the producer of Guntur Kaaram, Dil Raju addressed the press. During the press interaction, Dil Raju said, “1 AM shows received mixed reviews, but a cross-check at mass theatres like Sudarshan proved our belief is right. With each show, Guntur Kaaram is overcoming negative talk and reviews.”
It is true that the film unanimously opened to negative reviews from everyone, including the fans. Mahesh’s fans will never claim a film to be a super hit if they are not satisfied with the content. However, at some locations, there are people who are enjoying Mahesh Babu’s presence and performance in the film. Having said and done, it is still the second day, and too early to arrive at a conclusion on the performance of the movie. Let us hope that the film overshadows all the negativity.
Already, the team confirmed that the film created an all-time record (for a regional film) by collecting a revenue of 94 Cr worldwide gross on the opening day.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram was released yesterday along with HanuMan.
