Actor Sonu Sood has emerged as real hero in the lockdown by sending more than 20,000+ migrant labourers to their respective towns. His limitless service to various people has earned him massive respect and fame. No other film actor had dared to take to such a big responsibility during the tough times.
One cannot estimate how much he would have spent to send back migrants. A small debate has kicked off among netizens on how a Sonu – being a mid range artist – is doing all the charitable work.
When the same question was put before him in an interview recently, Sonu said he is financially well-off and is receiving financial support from many people to do all the generous work he is doing. “My family is into various businesses and I too have earned good money from modelling and films. So, I started off doing the charitable work with the money I made.” – Sonu Sood.
“It is the collective effort of several people and I believe I am here today because of all the love and support from several folks. Also, there are many people supporting financially and technically for all the good work I am doing. I am thankful to each one of them,” said who recently received huge applause from fellow artists and technicians at shooting spot.
When asked if he is doing all this service to enter politics, Sonu Sood has iterated that he’s doing it selflessly without expecting anything. But, he confessed that leaders from various political parties have approached and invited him. Sonu has respectfully turned down their invitation.
