Star Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan’s new release, “Ayalaan,” which became a success in Tamil during the Sankranti season, is set to hit the screens in Telugu today. Directed by R Ravi Kumar, the film has received positive responses at the Tamil Nadu box office. But the film’s Telugu release has been put on hold now.
The morning shows of the Telugu version were unexpectedly canceled in Hyderabad and various regions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The sources say a legal issue is pending clearance, so the film’s release has been put on hold.
The film will be released only after the issue is settled. Unfortunately, there is no clarity on when this will be settled because the courts and banks will remain closed due to a holiday today.
Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead role in this sci-fi thriller. The film also features Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanu Priya, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh under KJR Studios, AR Rahman composed the film’s music.
