Lal Salaam Trailer: Rajinikanth’s film offers a social message

Superstar Rajinikanth’s next release is titled Lal Salaam. His daughter Aishwarya is the film’s director and the makers launched the trailer last night. The film is billed to be a sports drama and it also features Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal as the leads.

The film revolves around promoting religious harmony and addresses a sensitive topic. The trailer suggests that ‘Lal Salaam’ is a compelling sports drama with a significant societal message. Rajinikanth’s presence electrifies the screen and the fans might enjoy it in theatres. However, it is not a usual character that Rajini plays in the film.

Produced by Subaskara Allirajah of Lyca Productions, the film features an ensemble cast, including Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Rajinikanth, Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Cricketing legend Kapil Dev makes a cameo appearance in the film. Renowned composer AR Rahman and editor Pravin Baaskar contribute to the film’s technical crew.

Set for a grand theatrical release on February 9, ‘Lal Salaam’ had its audio launch on January 26 at a college in Chennai.
