Four Blockbusters In Dry Period!

2024 is here; the box office is already glowing with many movies nationwide. February, the month after Sankranthi season considered to be as dull period for film industry, but not this year. The one industry still displaying dominance in delivering hits, it is the Malayalam film industry. While three films are already on the trending list, a fourth film has joined the success bandwagon.

It all started with Anweshippin Kandethum, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role. The film opened to good reviews, and the police procedural crime drama won many hearts across Kerala. As the film gained huge attention, two more films that were released after that topped the list of blockbusters this year.

Girls AD’s Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha, is trending across the South. The romantic drama generates a huge buzz and mints big revenue at the box office. On the one hand, this small film is doing wonders, and on the other hand, Mammootty’s Bramayugam is also setting the box office on fire. Both films left everyone in awe of Malayalam cinema.

As this is the case, we have the latest addition to the list of Malayalam hits. Manjummel Boys is another film that was released this week and opened to blockbuster talk. The film tells the story of a group of friends facing a string of unexpected misadventures on a vacation trip to Kodaikanal.

The critics are terming it to be the best survival thriller in recent times and are recommending everyone to watch it. Soubin Sahir, Ganapathi, Khalid Rahman and others are a part of the film.

Altogether, Malayalam cinema is glowing and almost every film hitting the screens this year is turning out to be a golden duck for the industry.
