Corona Effect : Irrfan Khan Gets Lonely Sendoff

Bollywood’s distinguished actor Irrfan Khan, who breathed last today in Mumbai succumbing to the rare Neuroendocrine tumor, has got lonely sendoff. Due to Corona Virus pandemic and imposed lockdown, there was limited attendance for Irrfan’s cremation.

First Irrfan’s mortal remains were taken from the hospital in an ambulance and pictures of wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Babil and Ayan Khan leaving the hospital were seen. Irrfan’s mortal remains were shifted to the site of cremation without much delay.

The Covid-19 crisis has robbed the Bollywood fraternity of the chance to say bid adieu to the veteran actor. Only a few family members and very close friends have attended Irrfan’s final rites.

Director Vishal Bharadwaj and Tigmanshu Dhulia were among the attendees from the film fraternity. Strict measures were taken and photographers were made to stand at a distance from the place of cremation. RIP Irrfan Khan!
