A comedy film that has no logic but is thought to be magic was released last week at the box office. Although it got average to good reviews, the film didn’t land well at the box office as per insiders. While the makers claimed huge numbers already, there is another talk going on in the distribution circles that the intended magic did not really work at the box office.
Apparently, the film is said to have not collected even 40% of the total investment from the theatres so far. The final ‘share’ of the film might collect only 50% of the theatrical rights. Even he’s said to have wondered how come the film failed to draw crowds to the theatres while everyone hailed the content.
Well, mixed opinions are being heard over this now as some say that a couple of interesting songs were required to bring openings, while few say that an extensive promotional campaign might have actually helped.
Though the makers have done all of that, somehow the film’s failure to beget huge openings has become a talking point in the film industry now.
