Espionage tales have captivated audiences worldwide for decades. The adrenaline-pumping narratives, mind-bending puzzles, unexpected twists, and patriotic heroes make them evergreen hits. Here’s a glimpse at the upcoming spy thrillers that promise to set the screen ablaze:
NTR Goes Global: After the international acclaim for “RRR,” Young Tiger Jr NTR is gearing up for his Bollywood debut in “War 2.” Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, this Yash Raj Films project sees him share screen space with Hrithik Roshan. Rumors suggest NTR will play a RAW agent, poised to become an antagonist in the Yash Raj spy universe.
Vijay Devarakonda – From Family Man to Spy: While Vijay Devarakonda’s “Family Star” is set to hit theaters soon, he’s already prepping for an untitled spy thriller directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, being called #VD12. Whispers suggest a dramatic transformation for Vijay in this film, hinting at an action-packed role, though he will not be a true spy but a police man investigating like a detective.
Adivi Sesh Returns as Gopi 116: The success of “Goodachari” reignited the Telugu audience’s love for spy stories. Now, Adivi Sesh is back for “Goodachari 2.” This Pan-India film takes us on a global mission with Gopi 116, and Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi joins the cast as the antagonist.
Nikhil Uncovers a Forgotten Chapter: Nikhil’s upcoming Pan-India project under Ram Charan’s presentation, “The India House,” is said to be an espionage thriller based on a forgotten chapter in Indian history. Set in pre-independence London, the film promises to blend patriotism with thrilling action.
Samantha Wields the Gun on OTT: While dazzling on the big screen, Samantha is captivating audiences on OTT with “Citadel: Honey Bunny.” Directed by Raj and DK, this spy action thriller pairs her with Varun Dhawan as they both play special agents. Samantha reportedly performed her own stunts in this series, slated for release on Amazon Prime Video soon.
Get ready for a thrilling ride as these stars weave magic with their espionage adventures!
