One of the iconic films of all time that catered to youths is none other than Sekhar Kammula’s “Happy Days”. The film literally gave careers to debutants like Varun Sandesh and Nikhil who have become happening heroes later on.
Also, it gave a huge push to Tamannaah’s career as well, while some comedians like Vinayakudu also found their rhythm. Cut to now, the film is re-releasing on April 19th in Telugu states.
Other day at the trailer launch of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar’s Sabari movie, hero Varun Sandesh turned up as a Chief Guest. When some journos asked if he would like to see any of his re-releasing in theatres, the hero feigned ignorance that his film “Happy Days” is actually re-releasing in theatres.
He was shocked about that and gave a smile. It looks like Varun Sandesh doesn’t have any info regarding the re-release, but then, if he promotes the film, he would get attention from the same.
Because, most of the actors of “Happy Days” got into extinction mode already, while Tamannah’s career reached a peak and another turn into Bollywood. Only Nikhil is continuing as the happening young hero from that bunch. Any promotion related to “Happy Days” will give that edge to Varun Sandesh in case he wishes to cash on the craze.
