Hero Suriya’s most anticipated film ‘Aakashame Nee Haddu Raa’ (Soorarai Pottru in Tamil) is releasing this month. Owing to the plague, the makers are doing different promotions and so have come up with a video called ‘Script to Screen.’
In this hero Suriya, director Sudha Kongara and others have shared their working experience. The director revealed that ten years back she watched an interview of captain Goponath and at that time she was penning the script of ‘Irudhi Suttru.’ She waited for the book ‘Simply Fly’ and after reading she found it exciting.
Before the film getting materialised, Sudha gave a 40 pages synopsis to hero Suriya. “Sudha said she wasn’t sure if it would suit me but asked me to read it. I found it extremely exhilarating. Can one person’s life have so many highs and challenges? This is a story of one such man,” said Suriya.
This video also shows Suriya trying for perfection while dubbing as it need a slang of the place, Madurai.
Based on the life of Air Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath, ‘Aakashame Nee Haddu Raa’ wrapped up its shooting in 60 days and the film is getting OTT release on October 30th on Amazon Prime.
