Owing to the fact that no Telugu film has worked commercially after “Tillu Square”, the single-screen theatres in Telangana have decided to shut down the screens for 10-14 days.
This is effective from May 17th and many wondered if these screens won’t come into existence until May 31st, but then Dil Raju and his nephew Asish are hopeful that they will reopen the theatres.
Finally the delayed trailer of Asish’s upcoming film “Love Me” is released today and Dil Raju is confident that the single screens will be opened from May 25th as their film releases.
“After watching the reactions of the audience who watched the trailer of the movie, I’m sure that from May 25th all the single screens will be opened. The audience will not only flock to theatres, but they will enjoy the movie big time for its romance, suspense and horror elements” says Asish at the trailer launch.
Even Dil Raju expressed a similar opinion, however, he is more focused on what kind of result the “Love Me” team will face rather than the opening of theatres. “Politicians will get their result on June 4th, while this team has to wait till May 25th to see their fate” commented Dil Raju. We have to see if “Love Me” will really do the needful for the single screen theatres.
