Bhaje Vaayu Vegam Is Safe With Non-Theatrical Deals?

Kartikeya Gummakonda and Ishwarya Menon are paired up in ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’, which is directed by Prashanth Reddy. This emotional action thriller is produced by UV Concepts and presented by UV Creations. It will hit the screens on May 31.

In a highly upbeat turn of events, the film has reportedly raked in Rs 15 Cr from non-theatrical deals (read digital streaming and satellite rights). Netflix paid Rs 10 Cr towards streaming rights and Zee paid another Rs 5 Cr. Put together, the excellent dual deal makes ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ a safest film.

Importantly, this has happened at a time when most films have had a tough time negotiating with OTT platforms due to the market saturation. Kartikeya’s 2023 release, ‘Bedurulanka 2012’, was also a profitable venture.

Also, the film’s theatrical release is going to be a grand one, thanks to distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni acquiring the all-India rights.

Rahul Tyson, Ravi Shankar, Tanikella Bharani, and Sarath Lohitaswa are playing important roles. Kapil Kumar is taking care of the background score. Radhan has composed the songs. RD Rajasekhar and Gandhi Nadikudikar are handling the cinematography and art department, respectively.
