Rashmika’s North Fans Have Special Request

Rashmika Mandanna Shetty is one of the heroines who earned a pan-India stardom in less time. The actress made her debut with the Kannada film Kirrik Party and then went ahead to earn the status in Telugu cinema. She even debuted in Bollywood and earned a huge fan base. Now, some of her fans are not happy with something she has done recently.

On X, Rashmika’s Delhi Fans raised a request, asking the actress to speak in English, in public events. With a subject, “Request to Speak in English,” the fans wrote that the actress should speak in English for more people to understand her.

“Today, you looked exceptionally beautiful. We were very happy to see you, but we also enjoy listening to your conversations as much as we enjoy seeing you. However, you continued speaking in Telugu, which we couldn’t understand. Don’t you think that if you have fans in the North, they would also like to hear you speak? If you speak in English, more people will be able to understand you, not only in the North but also those who speak Kannada, Tamil, or Malayalam. We kindly request you to consider our request. Your fans want to hear you,” the fans requested.

A humble Rashmika was quick to respond to them. She answered saying, “I try my best to talk in English so that everyone of you understand me no matter where you are from..❤️ but I am just uncomfortable with the fact that many people who want me to speak in their language will think that I am disrespectful of the language or that I don’t know the language, but- I’ll try my best.”

Last night, Rashmika was spotted at Gam Gam Ganesh pre-release event and she spoke in Telugu.
