Average Openings For Young Hero’s Hard Work

One of those heroes in Bollywood who came into the fore without any background is none other than Karthik Aryan. While the actor has put lots of efforts for his latest movie that hit the screens last Friday, the result is not so stunning.

Karthik Aryan’s latest film, Chandu Champion, directed by the talented Kabir Khan, has opened to a disappointing 24 crores nett at the box office. This is a heavy drop from his previous films, including Satya Prem Ki Kahani, which made ₹37 cr nett, and Bhool Bhulaiaya 2, which grossed ₹55 cr.

Karthik Aryan underwent a significant physical transformation for Chandu Champion, achieving a lean body with six pack abs. He also performed many of his own stunts in the film to ensure authenticity. Despite his hard work and dedication to the film, Karthik’s efforts seem to have fallen short of expectations.

Despite his hard work and dedication, the film’s opening weekend collections are quite lower than his previous films though word of mouth is good. Trade analysts opined that the presence of horror-comedy Munjya, which is carved by ‘Stree’ makers, is actually hampering the chances of Karthik’s movie.
