The resounding success of “Kalki 2898 AD” has undoubtedly raised the bar for Prabhas’ upcoming film “Rajasaab”. With “Kalki” grossing over ₹700 crore at the global box office, fans and industry experts alike are eagerly anticipating how “Rajasaab” will fare in comparison.
“Rajasaab” is set to showcase Prabhas in a different light, with the film blending horror and comedy elements. Director Maruthi is confident that “Rajasaab” will deliver a similar out-of-the-box experience to audiences, thanks to the success of “Kalki”. The pressure, however, is not to make significant changes to the story or production design of “Rajasaab”, but rather to meet the heightened expectations set by Nag Ashwin’s creation.
The visual effects and thematic depth of “Kalki” have raised the bar for Indian cinema, and “Rajasaab” will need to match that level of cinematic excellence to captivate audiences truly.
Prabhas’ star power has once again been proven with the success of “Kalki” and fans are eager to see him in a new avatar in Maruthi’s movie.
However, as Maruthi earlier promised the film will give fans more as there are masala songs and vintage Prabhas styled fights, will it live up to the Kalki hype is something to be seen.
On the other hand, while Prabhas is rejoicing in the success of “Kalki 2898 AD”, Maruthi is busy with a 7-day schedule of “RajaaSaab” which is being attended by the heroines of the movie including Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar.
