Dulquer Salmaan, the actor who earned millions of fans in different languages of Indian Cinema, is set to mesmerize audiences as Lucky Baskhar. The period drama which chronicles the life and extraordinary journey of a Bank Cashier from late 1980’s and early 1990’s is set to release worldwide on 7th September, 2024. This will be clashing with Thalapathy’s GOAT on September 5th.

Makers have made an official announcement regarding the same and expressed their confidence in the movie becoming a huge blockbuster. Venky Atluri, one of the most promising young directors of Telugu Cinema, with a blockbuster like Sir/Vaathi starring Dhanush to his name, is directing this film. Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing female leading role in the film opposite Dulquer.

Makers have constructed massive sets to recreate 80’s Mumbai in Hyderabad and production designer Banglan researched extensively to bring authenticity and aesthetic sense to them. Renowned cinematographer Nimish Ravi and ace music composer GV Prakash Kumar have worked for the film to bring Venky Atluri’s vision to life.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film on a grand scale with Srikara Studios presenting it. Lucky Baskhar is set to release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages worldwide.
