Pawan Kalyan has shocked the industry by teaming up with director Sagar Chandra. He has handed over a prestigious film, the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, to director Sagar who earlier made not very prominent films Appatlo Okadundendevadu and Ayyare. While this is indeed a big break for Sagar, Pawan wants to wrap up the film at the earliest. He has allotted 25 days of his dates for the film. Pawan is expected to join the sets of the film in January end or early February.
Pawan will be seen as a powerful police sub-inspector Ayyappan which was originally played by Biju Menon. However, Pawan’s name will be changed in the remake. Now a hunt for an actor is on to play the role of Koshy Kurien that was originally played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Meanwhile, the hunt for the role of Ayyappan’s wife i.e Pawan’s wife in the film is on. The film revolves around prohibition. So, it needs to be seen how the makers of Telugu remake set this premise of prohibition. The film’s producers want to wrap up the film at the earliest and thus wants to make profits. It needs to be seen whether this remake hits the bull’s eye or not.
