Tej’s ‘Republic’ Inspired By Pawan’s Politics?

Director Deva Katta did a rare feat back then two completely different genre films back to back. The movies are Vennela and Prasthanam. Prasthanam earned him a lot of fame and respect, but the director somehow slowed down after Autonagar Surya.

Now Deva Katta is coming back with yet another political subject and with Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. Sai Dharam Tej has not done a complete political thriller so far and it is interesting to see how he does it.

The intriguing factor is that Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan’s political journey seems to be the inspiration for the idea of making the movie.

So far it is all the jolly boy roles for Sai Tej, but a political backdrop story by Prasthanam maker is sure to get all the attention. Sai Dharam Tej’s last two movies Chitrahalari and Prati Roju Pandage fared very well. His Solo Brathuke So Better is due for release.

Sai Tej – Deva Katta’s movie is going to the sets very soon. The title in consideration is said to be ‘Republic’.
