Missed Kanguva- Mrunal Got Another Chance?

Mrunal Thakur, who debuted in Telugu with the film Sita Ramam, bagged a huge fan base. At the same time, her immediate film Hi Nanna also became a hit, solidifying her place in the cinema industry. Interestingly, she faced a slight setback with The Family Star. On the other side, she was initially considered to star alongside Suriya in Kanguva, but she had to let go of the role due to scheduling conflicts. But her loss is actually a gain for her.

Disha Pathani later took up the role initially offered to Mrunal. Fortunately, Mrunal would have only appeared in the film’s last 20 minutes, so the loss wasn’t too substantial.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Mrunal has been cast in Suriya’s next project, a fantasy thriller directed by RJ Balaji. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, updates are expected once Kanguva Hungama ends.

On the other hand, Mrunal’s slate in Bollywood is packed with upcoming projects like Pooja Meri Jaan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hi, Son of Sardar 2, and Tum Oh Ho, which are in various stages of production.

Interestingly, it is to be considered a jackpot that she bagged her Tamil debut alongside Suriya which will definitely elevate her in Kollywood. Additionally, Rukmini Vasanth’s name is reportedly being considered for a second female lead in the same film, with Suriya.
