Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe is one of the most popular franchises in the South Indian film industry. With the films Kaithi, Vikram and Leo, Lokesh set a benchmark for LCU.
His current film Coolie, featuring Superstar Rajinikanth, is also a part of this universe. He said that many of his upcoming films will also be a part of this universe.
Now, we have an interesting update about LCU. After wrapping up Coolie, Lokesh will start shooting Kaithi 2 with Karthi. According to the sources, all actors who were a part of LCU till now, will be seen in Kaithi 2.
That means we get to see Kamal Haasan, Karthi, Suriya, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay in a single film. As of now, nothing has been confirmed officially but fans are going berserk after hearing this news.
The regular shooting of Kaithi 2 will begin in early 2025. It will be a prequel to Kaithi, which showcases the journey of Dilli and how he ends up in jail.
More details about the project will be announced in the coming days.
