Suriya’s Kanguva movie is all set for release on November 14th. The movie’s prerelease event happened today and celebrities like Rajamouli, Vishwak Sen, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and Allu Aravind joined the event.
Not many know that the star filmmaker Rajamouli and actor Suriya once planned to work together, but Suirya could not do it. Today, at the event of Kanguva, Suriya opened up on it saying he missed a train, but is still standing in the railway station and hopes he will get to catch that train.’
However, Rajamouli showered praises on Suriya and expressed how much he respects and admires Suriya. Rajamouli called Suriya’s journey in Telugu as a case study. The Baahubali director recalled when he used to explain to the Telugu filmmakers and actors how Suriya came here with Ghajini and earned all the love of the Telugu audience. Rajamouli even admits that Suriya is his inspiration to make pan-India films.
Rajamouli also spoke about their plans to work together, but says it is he who missed the opportunity to work with Suriya, but not the other way around.
‘It was me who missed the opportunity, because I love him so much, I love his acting and onscreen presence so much. Suriya, I really respect your decision that you chose to go after a story rather than a story maker’, said Rajamouli.
Well, that’s the camaraderie between a great actor and a great director. Who knows, Rajamouli and Suriya might join forces to make a pan-India film.
