Icon Star Allu Arjun is busy with the promotions of Pushpa Part 2: The Rule. After the massive success of the first part, the film unit worked with extreme care to exceed all the expectations with the second part. Interestingly, when Allu Arjun’s look in lady character came out, it shook the entire film industry. The actor has now opened up on what went into making the look.
Allu Arjun recently attended the Unstoppable with NBK show as a guest. In his interaction with Balakrishna, Allu Arjun opened up on Pushpa 2 and the experience of working on the film. While discussing the lady getup, Allu Arjun admitted that it was very tough to enact it.
“Wearing the lady get-up was very difficult. The makeup itself took 2.5 hours, and it was the most challenging experience. It caused a lot of physical and mental strain, leading to back pain. We even had to pause the shoot because of it. It was very stressful,” said Allu Arjun.
Reportedly, Allu Arjun will sport the getup for the Gangamma Thalli Jathara sequence, and it is the costliest sequence ever in recent times. It has a lot of significance in the narrative, and the fans eagerly wait to witness Bunny’s performance in Lady Getup.
Earlier, Allu Arjun sported the lady getup in his debut film Gangothri but this time, it is completely different in Pushpa. Let us hope that it brings more laurels for Allu Arjun.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule will release on the 5th of December.
