Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. Be it any character, he would ace it with an ace. His last film, Animal, triggered major discussions and debates on social media. The actor was subjected to criticism that he was promoting violence on the screen. However, Ranbir answered this while he was at the IFFI in Goa.
Ranbir Kapoor agrees with the public view that actors have a responsibility to make movies that bring positive change to society. At the same time, he also expresses his opinion, saying, “It is important for me to dabble in different genres and characters and also play varied roles.”
Ranbir Kapoor highlights the importance of actors being ready to play any kind of role. This is not the first time that Ranbir Kapoor has faced criticism like this. When he acted in Sanju, he and the film unit were criticized for glorifying not-so-good aspects of Sanjay Dutt’s life.
During the IFFI, Ranbir Kapoor announced that their family plans to organize the Raj Kapoor Film Festival from December 13 to December 15 all over India. The plan is to restore versions of 10 of Raj Kapoor’s films.
