Pushpa euphoria is everywhere in the country right now. Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, Pushpa 2 was released today and it opened to a positive response from everyone. Sukumar directed the film and there is no looking back in terms of records. Meanwhile, the film created a big record on BookMyShow.
According to the makers, Pushpa 2 has set a new record by becoming the first ever Indian film ever to sell 100K+ tickets on BookMyShow portal in a single hour window. Usually, the portal tracks the number of tickets being sold for every one hour.
Interestingly, the sale recorded 101.43 tickets in one hour, which is a unique achievement. It clearly shows the craze that Pushpa experiences across the nation. Looking at this, the opening day number for the film is going to be higher than expected.
The previous record for hourly sales on BookMyShow is on the name Kalki 2898 AD with 97.7K tickets sold for one hour.
