Director Shankar’s name was a brand when each of his films back in the 90s was innovative and super successful. The director’s career took a steep fall with the mediocre films made on ha uge budget. His most recent release Indian 2 was ripped apart by the critics and audience alike.
Speaking about it for the first time, Shankar acknowledges the movie’s terrible failure but expresses that he did not expect negative reviews for Indian 2. In a recent interview, Shankar admits Indian 2 failed to enthrall audiences. The director says he is working on delivering better work with Game Changer and Indian 3.
On the same note, Shankar emphasizes that Indian 3 will be released in theaters, thereby rubbishing the rumors of Indian 3 releasing directly on OTT.
Shankar’s next release is Game Changer with Ram Charan. The director says Game Changer will be a racy socio-political action film between an officer and a politician. Game Changer is releasing for Sankranthi, on January 10, 2025.
