Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj is one of the upcoming films in Telugu. The film is heading into a box office clash with Ram Charan’s Game Changer and Venkatesh’s Sankranthi ki Vastunnam.
The makers of Daaku Maharaaj and Game Changer have successfully obtained permission to purchase ticket price hikes in Andhra Pradesh. However, it is still a mystery whether the Telangana government grants permission.
Interestingly, the makers of Game Changer want the ticket price hike in Telangana, but team Daaku Maharaaj is not interested in the same.
During the film’s press meet, the film’s producer Naga Vamsi, clarified that he is happy and comfortable with the ticket prices in Telangana.
“I have not asked for the hikes in Telangana. We are happy with the prices in the state. We are comfortable with the same,” he stressed.
On the flip side, team Game Changer needs ticket price hikes for their film. The film is made on a huge budget, and the hiked prices in the first week can boost the movie’s collections.
The Telangana government might issue clarity over the same either today or tomorrow. More details are awaited.
