‘Akhanda Tandavam’ Begins At Maha Kumbh Mela

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal are reuniting for Akhanda part 2. Titled Thandavam, the second film in the Akhanda franchise was launched last year. On the auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the makers began the film’s shoot.

Now that Balakrishna tasted a big hit with Daaku Maharaaj, the expectations will be naturally high on Akhanda 2. The film’s first part also became a big hit and the second part will offer more unique elements.

“#Akhanda2 – Thaandavam begins its shoot at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, capturing the true essence of faith and devotion 🔱 Grand release worldwide for Dussehra on SEPTEMBER 25th, 2025 ❤‍🔥” revealed the makers on social media.

Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing the film under the 14 Reels Plus banner. Thaman is the music director. C Ram Prasad is the cinematographer and AS Prakash is the art director. Tammiraju is the editor.

The film is scheduled for a grand release on the 25th of September.
