The first instalment of Kantara, a rooted Kannada film was a surprisingly big hit in the pan Indian circuit. The film punched above its weight in the Telugu states as well and earned big rewards to the makers. Subsequently, the trade is very hopeful of Kantara 2 which happens to be the prequel of the first part.
Considering the fact that the project has been largely scaled up in order to satisfy the wider audiences after the massive success of the first part, hero Rishab Shetty is reportedly going the extra mile.
Reportedly, Shetty is training himself for a war sequence in the film that includes extensive warfare and action-oriented presence. Consequently, he is said to be learning horse riding and sword fighting techniques to excel in this sequence.
Rishab is one of the dedicated and hardworking actors around and it is good that he is working that extra bit hard to bring authenticity to the action portion in the film. Meanwhile, Kantara 2 is lined up for release on October 2 this year.
