30 Cr for Priyanka Chopra? Not a big deal!

Although it is not officially confirmed, we have come to know that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be the leading lady of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next film, in the direction of SS Rajamouli. Priyanka Chopra is very much in Hyderabad, prepping for the film. Interestingly, as per the latest reports the makers finalized Rs. 30 Cr as her remuneration for the film.

Priyanka Chopra started off her career with Bollywood but she gained international fame. She is one of the top celebrities across the world now. The sources say that Priyanka had demanded more money but the negotiations from the film unit side worked out well, resulting in the deal getting finalized. Although the number appears to be huge, it is not a big deal for the producers.

Any producer who works with director Rajamouli need not worry about the film’s box office result or its promotions. Rajamouli carries the film on his shoulder from the inception stage to finally having it on the OTT platform. The reach, appeal and the craze that surrounds his films are unparalleled. This time, Mahesh Babu is joining the forces with the director and it is easily a dream combination for any producer. The table profits are assured even before the team hit the floors.

In such a scenario, the producers cracked a highly profitable deal with Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka’s presence not only brings attention to the film in India but also in the overseas. The team is projecting the film as an African adventure film. The makers are planning to get some International actors on board. Priyanka is one of the few actors available who would bring the International glamour and appeal to the project. She has become very choosy in the recent past and her inclusion in SSMB29 has already garnered attention.

Although a few dubs it a costly deal, 30 Cr for a heroine like Priyanka Chopra is a done deal for the makers.
