South vs North – Regina Adds Her Voice!

Regina Cassandra is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Starring Ajith and Trisha in lead roles, the film features Regina opposite in a key role. During the movie’s promotions, Regina dropped some big truth bombs about how Bollywood treats South actors.

During a recent interview as part of the promotions, Regina shared her thoughts on the evolving landscape of the Hindi film industry. Reflecting on past challenges, she noted that South actors once struggled to secure roles in Bollywood, as opportunities were scarce for those from the South

“However, the scenario has changed completely now after the post-pandemic era. Earlier, Bollywood rarely welcomed South actors, but now, they actively seek them to expand their films’ reach to a larger audience,” Regina stated.

The actress also mentioned that, personally, she has not faced such challenges and has recently signed a Bollywood film.

Vidaamuyarchi is hitting the screens on February 6th, 2025.
