Aamir Khan Lauds Chaitu as a ‘Great Human Being’

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Thandel will be released in Tamil and Hindi, and its Hindi trailer was launched in Mumbai with Aamir Khan as the chief guest.

During the event, Naga Chaitanya shared a special connection with Aamir Khan. He recalled his experience working on Love Story with Sai Pallavi, where Aamir Khan watched the trailer and messaged him saying, “What a lovely trailer, can I come for the event you’re having in 2 days?” Aamir’s presence at the event brought immense positivity, and the film went on to become a major success.

Chaitanya continued, “Now, with Thandel, a film that Sai Pallavi and I are doing together, Aamir is here to launch the trailer. It’s such a magical moment for me. If this film succeeds—and I’m confident it will—I will make sure Aamir Khan launches the trailers for all the films that Pallavi and I work on in the future.”

Reflecting on his time with Aamir during the making of Laal Singh Chaddha, Chaitanya added, “I spent six months working with Aamir, and he left a huge positive impact on me. I learned so much from him, not just as an actor but as a human being. That influence will play a big role in my life.”

Aamir Khan, meanwhile, had high praise for the Thandel trailer, saying, “When the story is good, the audience will definitely watch the film. I really loved the trailer; it’s fantastic and beautifully shot. Dinka Chika, composed by DSP, is my favorite song—I can’t help but dance when I hear it.”

He continued, “The story of Thandel is moving, and the emotions are conveyed beautifully. Chay is an amazing actor, and so is Sai Pallavi. Chay is an ideal co-star—absolutely on the ball, a complete team player. He’s a great human being to be around. We share a wonderful fondness for each other.”

The team will be celebrating Thandel Jathara tomorrow, with Icon Star Allu Arjun attending the event.
