Thanks to director SS Rajamouli, we are in an era where pan-India films are thriving (Despite their varied success ratIO). These films, transcending regional language barriers, are now frequent at the box office, with audiences rewarding those with good content. This trend might soon take a leap forward with the advent of a pan-world film.
KGF star Yash has teamed up with National Award-winning director Geetu Mohandas for a film titled ‘TOXIC.’ As suggested by its name, the film is a gangster drama, perfectly suiting Yash’s macho personality. On the eve of Yash’s birthday, a teaser was released, significantly ramping up expectations.
Here’s an update that could elevate ‘TOXIC’ to a new level. It’s being reported that the film is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, aiming to be a true-blue global film.
However, this dual-language approach has its costs. The budget for ‘TOXIC’ has reportedly increased by 40 percent, yet the producers remain undeterred, willing to invest further to potentially make it one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema history.
‘TOXIC’ boasts an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria, among others.
