Vishwaksen’s Laila is hitting the screens this weekend. Directed by Ram Narayan, the film features Vishwaksen in the lady getup. The team held a pre-release event the other day, with Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Interestingly, the speech of Pruthviraj has become controversial with a lot of YSRCP followers and supporters calling to boycott the film.
In this context, Vishwaksen has come up with a new appeal to everyone. Taking to social media, he appealed to everyone to not drag him and his film to politics. He also apologized once again for those who were hurt. However, there is a reason for it. A few posters released by Vishwaksen’s team from the past, features the actor showcasing a middle finger. Many people thought that these are new posters and Vishwak is not putting an end to the controversy. Hence, Vishwak has now issued a clarity that they are old posters.
“Na cinemaki samandhinchina prathi poster na cinema ki samandhinchindhi matrame this was #sonumodel first look poster released month ago. And the present red suit photo is also from past. Spread love . Maintain peace . I can’t keep thinking twice before every poster or post I put about my film . He is #sonumodel meet him in theatres on feb 14 . Using foul Language on social media will take none of us nowhere. Prathisari thagganu, ninna manaspoorthiga I felt bad for people who got hurt and apologised. Stop overthinking and start maintaining peace . #laila #boycotttheboycottlaila . Malli Chepthunna – Nenu natudni matrame , nannu na cinemani rajakeeyalloki laagakandi . #vishwaksen”
