Prabhas Didn’t Take A Single Rupee For Kannappa

Manchu Vishnu is anticipating the theatrical release of his big budget mythological film Kannappa, which is announced for release on April 25. As the film prepares for release, Vishnu is now actively promoting it, and here is what he had to say about Prabhas in one of his latest interviews.

Vishnu revealed that Prabhas did not take any convincing to do this project as he came on board out of the love he had for Manchu Mohan Babu.

“Prabhas was so gentle and sweet about it. I didn’t even have to convince him to sign this project. He happily came onboard when I presented him the idea. He is so big that he could’ve easily rejected the role, but he didn’t. He valued the friendship with my father and signed for us.” Vishnu said in an interview with an English tabloid.

The Manchu hero further revealed that both Prabhas and Mohanlal didn’t take a single rupee remuneration for the film. He revealed that both Prabhas and Mohanlal valued friendship and did this film without any remuneration.

“Mohanlal uncle funnily asked me if I’ve become such a big boy to discuss remuneration with him. He was so gentle about it” Vishnu said.

Well, Prabhas is one of the highest paid actors in the country and is super busy at the moment. But he has still found the time and scheduling to work on Kannappa and that too at free of cost. This is a warm gesture from the macho hero, it must be said. Prabhas will be seen as Rudra in the film, as is known.
